Stitch your own stocking

Use our easy-to-follow pattern and adapt, transform and get creative with your finishing touches

You will need
0.5m fabric
pins
scissors
paper
pencil
needle
thread
sewing machine
ribbon



Directions
Print off and cut out the stocking template, you can find our stocking template here - Please note, to recreate our stocking you will need to print A3 size.

Fold your fabric in half, wrong sides facing. Pin the template on top and cut out two stocking shapes.

Using slip stitch, make a 0.5cm hem along the top of both stocking shapes.

With right sides facing, pin together and sew a 0.5cm hem around all edges, apart fromthe top. Trim the seams and clip the curves so your stocking will lie flat. Turn the stocking out the right way and press flat.

To make a loop for hanging up your stocking, cut a length of ribbon to measure 10cm. Fold the ribbon in half and hand stitch on to your stocking.
