Materials:

Box frames
Wallpaper samples
Keys
Spray paint (I used two different colours)

Description of your project:

'I've made Arts and Crafts inspired pictures.'

How you made your project:

'I love William Morris wallpaper and fabrics but I couldn't justify the price of decorating an entire wall in the paper, or find another one that I really liked. Instead, I bought samples of some of my favourite wallpapers for 75p from Wallpaperdirect.com - they send out three free samples and then the rest you pay for. I also found a box of old and decorative keys that were left in our house when we moved in. I spray painted them with copper and silver spray paints, and mounted them on top of the wallpapers in box frames from Ikea using superglue. I've made a set of four, which will be hung in a square above the headboard in our guest room, for very little money!'

Where you got your inspiration from:

'I was inspired by William Morris wallpaper and fabrics.'

Overall cost:

'One picture works out at £12.25 and four works out at £33 (£8.25 each), but using leftover paint or wallpaper would make it even cheaper.'

Box frames were £3.50 each from Ikea
Wallpaper samples were 75p each from Wallpaperdirect
Keys were free
Spray paint was PlastiKote at around £8 each (I used two different colours)
