Description of your project:

'I wanted to have a new look in my bedroom but didn't want to break the bank'


How you made your project:

'I repainted my chest of drawers with Annie Sloan's chalk paint (Paloma) which went on like a dream, applied a coat of Annie Sloan's clear wax to the painted areas. I am a new and emerging photographer and I have recently set out taking images of some Chinese silk fabric that I inherited from my grandmother (who in turn inherited it from her mother) - I used one of these images to decoupage the drawers'


Where you got your inspiration from:

'I follow a lot of craft, DIY, decoupage and architecture groups on social media and read a lot of design magazines (Your Home, of course!)'
