Description of your project:

'My project came about when my two daughters wanted to seperate their bunk beds and we needed some extra floor space.'


How you made your project:

'I decided on putting the bookcase on top of a set of drawers. They were both pine but a little mismatched so I painted them using an emulsion paint. I then bought a contrasting colour for the back of the bookcase, shelves and doorknobs.'

'I secured the two together with a couple of batons of wood down the back.


Where you got your inspiration from:

'My inspiration came from magazines and websites specialising in up-cycled furniture'


Overall cost:

'Paint was the only cost, the total of my project was £20.'
