1. 12-month approach
There's a nice simple one to start things off - if you haven't worn something in the last 12 months, it's time to get chuck.
Rotate your summer and winter wardrobes. There's little point having thick winter clothing to hand when we're in the mid-20s, as you almost certainly won't be wearing it will you? Similarly, when it's in single figures, you're unlikely to be reaching for your beach shorts...
3. A place for everything
It makes sense to create a list so you can sort out exactly what you need on a day-to-day basis. You can then prioritise your most worn items and make sure they're readily available.
