Aldi just made gardening a whole lot easier

Posted 30th April

The time is now upon us to make the most of our outdoor areas, with spring's arrival presenting the ideal opportunity to transform our gardens.

Now, Aldi is providing homeowners with a great way to get on top of their garden once and for all, thanks to the retailer’s new rechargeable and universal battery pack.

The new addition works seamlessly with Aldi's cordless range, which includes a Grass Trimmer (£20), Lawn Mower (£85), Drill (£20) and Hedge Trimmer (£25), essentially making it a crucial piece of kit for those DIY jobs you need to do around the home and garden. An additional bonus? You get to wave goodbye to all those annoying tangled leads...

Coming in both 20V (£15) and 20/40V (£30), the battery pack and charger are both available for pre-order now, and will be in store from 2nd May, as part of Aldi's Garden Event (which you can read about here).

It also presents homeowners with a great way to save money, as one battery fits all. It also gives you an opportunity to save up to £35, as you don't have to buy a variety of individual batteries and chargers. You also get to save a lot of space in the shed - win-win!

The Battery Charger (£15) also charges power tools for hours of use so DIY jobs can be done without having to worry about rushing to a power point or extension lead. Each component comes with a 2-year warranty and a 45 minute charging time for the 20V battery, ensuring you're good to go in no time.
