At a glance…

Product name: James Martin by Wahl ZX902 Food Processor

Price at time of review: £80 from Fenwick Colchester

Colour: Grey

Accessories included: 1.5 L blender jug; stainless steel blades for slicing, shredding and grating; dough blade; whisk; stainless steel processing blade; citrus juicer.

Pros:

• Simple to work

• Lots of accessories

• Sturdy non-stick feet

• Acheives average to good results

• Great for beginners

• Components are dishwasher safe

• Performed well when combining pastry

Cons:

• Rather large and difficult to store all components

• Results weren't always consistent

• Only two speed functions

• Some parts feel flimsy

• Struggles with smaller quantities

Our verdict…

Performance: 3 out of 5

Ease of use: 4 out of 5

Overall look/style: 4 out of 5

This food processor is great for beginners, or as an entry-level kitchen gadget. With two speed options available, it's relatively easy to use with help from the clear instructions. However, the amount of components can get a little confusing at times.

It has a great amount of accessories for every food purpose, whether you're blending or juicing – just be warey of storing all these attachments!

Though the results might not be consistent enough for a more confident home cook, we think it's a great entry-level gadget that will allow beginners to experiment with their cooking.
