Get ready for the Bristol Food Connections Festival!

Posted 29th May 2018

If you're a foodie living in southwest England, then get ready, because the Bristol Food Connections festival is back from 11th-17th June 2018.

Shining a light on the wonderful community work with food and drink in and around Bristol, the theme of this year is TIME. But don't expect to find all the action in one place, as this festival is taking place all over Bristol.

From feasts, celebrations and cooking masterclasses, to talks, debates, and family activities, everyone is welcome at this series of fantastic events being held across the whole city. Speaking about the upcoming event, Claire Peeters, Chief Executive of Bristol Food Connections, told us “We’re really excited about this year’s Bristol Food Connections as the event is going to be a bit different to previous years; instead of a village of white tents in the city centre which is ‘here today, gone tomorrow’, we are putting our energy behind supporting a citywide partnership event which aims to connect the whole city, celebrate what Bristol is really about and leave a legacy of good food long after the festival is over."

Confirmed events so far include an Open Community Iftar, celebrating the end of Ramadan, the famous St. Nicks night market and the final of the Young Cook Awards 2018.
