Snowmen on parade

Make this cute little wreath out of pompoms and ribbons and delight all the family

You will need
polystyrene wreath blank, Hobbycraft
white glitter ribbon, from a selection at Jane Means
hot glue gun
white pompoms in two sizes
selection of decorative ribbons
black and orange paints
fine paint brush

Directions

Begin by wrapping the wreath blank in white glitter ribbon – this creates a good base for the pompoms to sit on. Stick it into position with hot glue. Next, glue a small pompom to the top of each large pompom, then stick these around the wreath, with the smaller ones facing outwards.

Cut several 10cm lengths of ribbon in various colours and thicknesses, then wrap them around each snowman’s neck, holding each in position with a dot of glue.

Finally, use a fine paint brush to paint black dots on each snowman’s face to create eyes and a mouth, then use a dash of orange to make a carrot nose. Continue until each snowman has a face, then leave to dry.

Top tip
Make this project even more homespun by crafting your own pompoms from scratch!
