Christmas is all about the sweet treats. From ornate gingerbread houses to slices of sticky stollen loaves, everywhere you turn there's temptation to cater to your sweet tooth.
Desserts and puddings, especially, become a minefield of sugar-saturated fruits which, though they are tasty for some, can prove a real problem for those that need to watch their sugar intake.
But just because you need to watch the sugar, doesn't mean you can't enjoy a delicious dessert on Christmas day along with the rest of the family!
If you're looking for a recipe that is low on sugar but big on taste for you, or any sugar-conscious guests, we've got just the dish for you.
Based on the traditional Italian dessert, this Tiramisu substitutes sugar for Canderel and has a perfect silky smooth topping thanks to its soft cheese and crème fraiche cream!
