How to re-vamp plant pots

How to re-vamp plant pots

Posted 7th Feb 2013

You will need
old newspaper or dust sheets
plastic plant pots in varying sizes
PlastiKote Outdoor spray paint

Directions
Make sure the pots are clean and dry.

Spread newspaper or dust sheets in a well-ventilated area, preferably outside. If using the spray paint outside, choose a warm, still day.

Follow the instructions on the can, starting with shaking it well to mix the paint.

Don't try and get complete coverage in one go. Holding the can about 20cm from the pot, apply two or three thin layers, building the colour gradually. Allow 5-10 minutes between coats.

The paint will be touch dry in under an hour and thoroughly dry in 2-3 hours.

Once dry, plant up and fill your garden with colour.
