Make a peg bag from old pjs
You will need
pyjama top
coat hanger
tailor's chalk
sewing scissors
pins
thread
needle
tape measure
pinking shears
1. Turn the pyjama top inside out and place a coat hanger on the shoulders. Using tailor's chalk and a tape measure, mark a 30cm vertical line 1.5cm away from each end of the coat hanger.
2. Draw a horizontal line, using a tape measure and tailor's chalk to join the two vertical lines. Remove the coat hanger. Cut along the chalk lines and discard any excess fabric.
3. Pin the edges of the fabric together. Sew a 1cm hem around the cut edges of the pyjama top to join them together. Use pinking shears to trim the cut edges to prevent them from fraying.
4. Turn the peg bag the right way out. Using a needle and thread, slipstitch the edge of the button placket closed to prevent any pegs slipping out once the peg bag is hung up. Replace the coat hanger in the top of the peg bag.
