This week's try me is… Häagen-Dazs limited edition Cherry Blossom ice cream

With floral flavours gracing the 2018 top foodie trends list, iconic luxury ice cream brand Häagen-Dazs has brought a new limited-edition Cherry Blossom ice cream (RRP £4.20), set to become this season’s coolest must-have. The brand’s latest addition will launch exclusively online in Ocado on the 1st February for one month only, offering shoppers a fragrant and refreshing ice cream in a luxe millennial pink tub created by renowned British designer Kitty McCall, that looks as good as the ice cream tastes.

 Channelling Japanese influences, the ice cream is made using a delicate Sakura extract, an essence of Japanese cherry blossom flowers – pink blooms which only grow in the spring time. Häagen-Dazs has added a tangy cherry sauce swirl to the pastel pink ice cream, perfectly complementing its exquisite, subtle tasting notes. As with every flavour in its delectable range, the ice cream is made with only the finest quality ingredients, always using a base of kitchen friendly ingredients real milk, fresh cream, egg yolks and sugar for a luxurious and rich taste.

 Last year saw Häagen-Dazs rebrand with a modern, clean and fresh new look and this new limited-edition flavour is just the latest in line of exciting new products due to hit shelves in 2018.
