Joining the Elise Steel, the Elise Glass fires are the newest additions to Stovax’s Elise range. These have a beautiful glass door frame which gives them their strikingly stylish look and come in a range of sizes to suit any interior.
These sophisticated hole-in-the-wall fires have been engineered to be compliant with the 2022 Ecodesign low emission standards. The innovative combustion system features a series of plenum chambers and air jets which deliver combustion air to the important areas in the firebox to facilitate their ultra-green credentials while maintaining their high efficiency levels of up to 82%. Because of this, the Elise Glass range emits fewer flue gasses, which means these fires are one of Stovax’s cleanest burning models.
The Elise Glass range comes in both wood-burning and multi-fuel versions and is designed to burn wood with optimal efficiency. Burning wood is a great way to live a sustainable lifestyle, as when burnt, the carbon dioxide that is released into the air is about the same as the amount a tree would absorb during growth. This makes burning wood a carbon neutral source of energy.
The Elise Glass range can be enhanced by adding an optional fan-assisted convection to further increase the efficiency of the fire by directing more of the heat into the room. Another supplement that can be added to the fire is the warm air ducting kit. This will aid with heating additional rooms if needed. These fires can also be fitted with a sealed external air supply to reduce draughts throughout the home.
There are a variety of framing and frameless options available to further stylize the Elise Glass range. The frames are available in a four-sided option if installing the fire further up the wall, or a three-sided option for those wanting a more traditional hearth-mounted installation.
